NEW ZEALAND LAW SOCIETY
New Zealand Law Society has been an important contributor and participant in New Zealand's justice system for nearly 150 years. As a regulator of the legal profession, the Law Society’s powers are set out in the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006, and associated regulations. They regulate the practice of law in New Zealand to ensure the protection of consumers of legal services and to maintain public confidence in the provision of legal services.
