NORTH HENNEPIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE

One of the largest community colleges in the state, North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota offers opportunities for career training, transfers to four-year universities and even bachelor’s degree programs. North Hennepin’s more than 10,000 students have access to 70 academic and professional programs. North Hennepin’s divisions of study include liberal arts, fine arts, business and technology, and health and medicine. While many students either use their degree to ... begin a new career or to transfer to a four year university, Hennepin students also have the option to earn their bachelor’s degree through one of Hennepin’s university partnerships. Student life helps students to sharpen skills through professional clubs and student services. Other offerings, such as athletics, recreational activities, a school literary magazine, and theatre and music activities give them the chance to pursue additional interests. Most programs at North Hennepin have an open admissions policy, which allows any student to attend upon submission of an application.
