NOTARIES OF FRANCE
Notaries in France are lawyers with a mission of public authority who prepare contracts in an authentic form on behalf of their clients. They exercise their functions within a liberal framework and assume their public service mission throughout the territory. They contribute to the economic life of the country. The only body of professionals authorized to speak on behalf of all notaries in France, the Superior Council of Notaries is a public utility establishment.
