Nuclear Management Partners has been the parent body organisation for Sellafield Ltd since 2008; supporting the mission of accelerated clean-up at Sellafield on behalf of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority By combining the global expertise of AECOM, Amec Foster Wheeler and AREVA, NMP is able to face all aspects of the Sellafield challenge, from cleaning up contaminated buildings and operating waste and production plants, through to project management and new build construction. In recognition of the significant challenges and long term need for consistency of leadership, Government and NDA agreed that the contract should extend for up to 17 years, comprising of an initial period of five years with extensions after each subsequent five year period based on performance.
