OHIO DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY
Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio, offers rigorous and diverse academics, generous financial aid options and a community that embodies the values of Dominican Catholicism. All students at Ohio Dominican take a core curriculum, which relates to the issues of peace, social justice and conflict resolution. In keeping with this same theme, Ohio Dominican even offers a bachelor’s degree in Peace and Justice. Additional bachelor’s degrees are awarded in everything from the Liberal and... Fine Arts to professional and pre-professional programs. Majors include Art History, Communications, Professional Writing, Math, Music Performance, Social Work, Secondary Education, Finance, Marketing, Pre-Law and Pre-Occupational Therapy. Graduate programs in such fields as Education and Theology are also available. Equally diverse and numerous are the student life opportunities at Ohio Dominican. A student-run radio station, student bands and other performance groups as well as academic, service, political and religious clubs are just a few examples of the activities available. The majority of students at Ohio Dominican receive some form of financial aid, and the school provides information on private scholarships as well as need-based aid. Prospective students work with an Ohio Dominican admissions counselor, who will guide them through the application process.
