Omegametrix GmbH, as a Laboratory, to deal with the ever growing number of research projects, applications and samples. Initially proposed as a risk factor for sudden cardiac death, it now indicates cardiovascular risk as well. First studies have shown its association to life expectancy in general. Other applications, still in development, range from psychiatric diseases to pregnancy and lactation.
