oneFactor is an international IT company (head office in Dubai, UAE), a developer of a secure data monetization platform for owners of traditional retail businesses (telecoms, banks, retailers, payment systems, etc.), which allows launching services based on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies to automate business processes in various sectors of the economy. For the development of the platform, oneFactor was included in Gartner's international study “Cool Vendors” for t... elecom operators, a key IT research. For the development of AI services for risk management and operations, oneFactor was included in the international study "Artificial Intelligence tools for businesses - enterprise functions". oneFactor was established in October 2015. The founders are USM Holdings IT Project Director Mikhail Dubin and Megafon’s (one of the largest telecom operators in Russia and CIS) ex-manager Roman Postnikov, who was involved in big data analysis and Machine Learning. The company’s employees are former Megafon R&D specialists at Megafon’s Big Data and monetization departments for various industries. The investor of the company is USM Holdings of Alisher Usmanov. oneFactor develops advisory services primarily for fintech, as well as for insurance, the outdoor advertising market, retail, city management, tourism and transport. In 2011, oneFactor team developed a Big Data processing and monetization platform for internal purposes of Megafon (one of the largest telecom operators in Russia and CIS countries) and was the first on the market to launch risk assessment services for fintech and select optimal locations for retail based on data from mobile operators for the external market. In December 2015, oneFactor entered into its first overseas contract with Qualcomm for the use of the geo-recommendation service. In 2016, oneFactor developed the SmartIndex system for automating the placement, media planning and targeting of digital outdoor advertising in real time. Among the companies that used this service are Uber, Bayer, MediaMarkt, Metro AG, HeadHunter, Hasbro and others. In 2017, the cloud service for outdoor advertising media measurements was launched, which is a part of the SmartIndex system. The system in online mode determines what audience is next to the screen at a particular moment, and selects the advertisement suitable for it. In 2017, for the development of AI services for risk management and operations, oneFactor was included in the international study "Artificial Intelligence tools for businesses - enterprise functions". In 2018, more than 85% of all decisions on granting loans were made by a number of the largest Russian banks using the company's service, SmartMachine. In June 2019, for the first time in Russia, media measurements became available to all outdoor market participants - using the SmartIndex 2.0 web service, operators, advertising agencies and direct advertisers can now receive average GRP and OTS ratings for free. In October 2019, oneFactor became a national member of the Association of Communication Agencies, and also became a member of IAB, introducing the SmartIndex 2.0 web service to evaluate and improve the performance of outdoor advertising based on Big Data. The company was the first in Russia to enter the international Gartner Cool Vendors study for telecom operators in 2019, a key IT research. In the entire history of Gartner, only five Russian companies have been included in research in various fields. oneFactor is a co-founder and member of the Big Data Association in the Russian Federation - a backbone organization in the field of Big Data in Russia.
