OnIO was founded in August,1st 2017 in Cyberjaya, Malaysia by 4 passionate engineers. The very first product was the smart plug. A smart plug is a device that plugs right into an ordinary outlet. The device itself has its own outlet, so in a sense it's like an outlet extension. Instead of plugging your electrical appliances into the wall, you'd plug it into the smart plug. Users can control their lamps, fan or any electrical appliances using their mobile phone.
