OREEC

OREEC (Oslo Renewable Energy and Environment Cluster) is a network of companies, research, education and public actors within renewable energy and the environment in the Oslo region. OREEC aims to increase the pace of innovation, increase business opportunities and increase value creation for network participants. OREEC is organized as a separate department in the Knowledge City Lillestrøm. OREEC is working to ensure that Norwegian companies are the world leader in renewable energy and environ... mental technology. They do this in close cooperation with counties, municipalities and other public and private actors - to create a market for technology and expertise from the region's technology companies and service providers. Through their extensive international collaboration, they highlight Norwegian companies' expertise and contribute to network building. All this will give OREEC partners increased business opportunities. Innovation is created through collaboration between the business sector, authorities and the education and research sector. Future-oriented solutions require holistic thinking and collaboration across disciplines. OREEC has a holistic approach and facilitates dialogue and increased interaction between different actors across the thematic focus areas. They also work for better framework conditions for the business sector in certain areas. OREEC contributes to the establishment of new cooperative relationships between companies and between companies and research. More and more businesses are joining OREEC as a partner. Many of the partners participate actively in OREEC's projects, others participate in different meeting places or engage in OREEC's work in other ways.More
