Open Motors (formerly OSVehicle) is a YC backed company (W16) based in Palo Alto (CA) focused on providing B2B solutions for custom self-driving vehicles.

 In April 2017 Open Motors (formerly OSVehicle) introduced EDIT, the 1st ready to use Self-Driving EV, modular, open & white label.
 It's designed and engineered specifically for services. Companies like Uber, Lyft, Amazon, UPS, Domino Pizza can customize EDIT specifications (self-driving hardware stack, connected car, code, vehicle ra... nge), look (facelift design, use their brand) with faster time to market (half the time) and lower investments (⅙ the cost).
 For extreme customization, since 2015 OSVehicle has been already providing TABBY EVO: a ready-to-use hardware EV platform which enables companies to produce complete custom electric vehicles.

 Open Motors’ platform is the key functional parts of a car - the wheels, chassis, motor, electronics and battery. Focusing on the 600B USD market of specialty vehicles, Open Motors’ open, modular, electric vehicle platform allows new and existing car manufacturers to develop their own models saving up to two years of R&D and millions of dollars in investments. At the same time it is a reference platform for mobility startups to embed and develop their technology on, without having to re-invent the wheel or partner with existing car brands and wait years before deploying their products.
