PAVE helps parents in understanding the educational system and developing relationships with elected officials and policymakers. PAVE, which was founded in April 2016 with an all-parent governing board, is dedicated to creating an environment in which the vision for education in DC is created with children and families, not for them. The organization's goal is to change the dynamic so that communities and parents work together to build great schools.
