Perceptual Robotics, Inc., founded in 1995, is the pioneer and recognized market leader in Telepresence technology. With its flagship product, the TrueLook software system, PRI provides the visual operating system for Internet e-business. TrueLook mediates between Internet users and visual resources on the network, including live cameras, video / photo databases, and tools for using and sharing pictures and video. Through PRI's TrueLook software solutions, users interact with telerobotic web cam... eras to view whatever they'd like, just as if they were actually present in that place. And, TrueLook software allows multiple users to experience a single location at once, up to the limits of the network bandwidth. Users receive high-end, still JPEG, photographic-quality images within seconds of whatever they choose to see, even over lower-bandwidth modems. TrueLook is used in numerous applications, including e-commerce, e-content (webcasting), and enterprise monitoring.
