In fact, Piedmont has its own website with ideas for critical thinking projects as they relate to environmental, community issues, and other themes. Students at Piedmont may also benefit from numerous travel abroad opportunities. In addition to semester-long study abroad programs, Piedmont also sponsors shorter ones. Student life encourages the small student body to get to know one another and participate in the more than 35 student organizations and performing arts opportunities. The admissions department evaluates students based on academic record, SAT or ACT scores, recommendation letters and the personal essay.
