PLAN9
The Plan9 Group is a technology company based in California. They are the makers of the language-learning app and store, Plango. The free app currently has dozens of titles available in five languages. Plango's unique multimedia player features include Rapid Play, allowing app use while downloads are in progress, patent-pending technology that allows speed up and slow down in the non-native language only (a first for language learning apps), and a best-in-class UX including language-learning sound quality, split screen viewing, vocabulary, end notes, and bookmarking. Plango v2.1 is available in the Apple store and the Android Market version is scheduled to debut during holiday. Plango is fully extensible and customizable for individual publisher requirements.
