POCMI stands for Piece of Cake Migration. We've created a job marketplace and end-to-end services resource on a SaaS platform, for companies that have difficulty hiring locally, to connect with individuals who want to move to another country, expats who want to move home, and high skilled people who have been displaced. Our aim is to re-normalize and elevate high-skilled migration, in hopes of helping to resolve global labour shortages, reduce the effects of brain drain, improve refugee reintegr... ation, and promote peace through diversity. Sometimes the talent needed is just not available locally. And sometimes companies just want some outside perspective to fuel innovation and leap them ahead of their local competition. We know finding international talent that is ready to move is a long and tedious process. That’s why we’ve been working diligently to create the Pocmi software platform that will help to find and manage international talent. In turn, saving you time and money AND the work permit headaches. The world is currently experiencing a major high skilled labour shortage of over 40 million due to aging populations, the pandemic, and the introduction of new roles. Simultaneously, 700 million adults want to move to another country annually, yet only 1-2% of those people get to do so due to lack of resources to identify opportunities. Talent exists, but not in the right places. Currently the systems to connect high skilled workers with opportunities across the globe and facilitate a successful transition are fragmented and consider local conditions rather than global transitions.More
