Primus Power is a privately held, Northern California based producer of flow batteries: Big Batteries for the Smart Grid. These patented, liquid batteries provide flexible capacity from 25kW to 25MW, for stationary, grid scale applications. Primus' EnergyPod provides 5 hours of energy discharge and a long twenty year life span. These Zinc Bromine batteries are safe and low maintenance. The second generation EnergyPod 2 announced production February 21, 2017 with a reduced footprint, low cost of goods, and high reliability components to deliver superior power density.
