PRIVATE ADVISOR GROUP
Private Advisor Group started its roots as Morristown Financial Group in 1997. It was founded by Patrick Sullivan and John Hyland, who saw the need for greater support for independent advisors. Recognizing that compliance can be a true burden, Patrick and John wanted to assist local advisors with outsourcing services so they could focus on their businesses. The group quickly gained a reputation for being vigilant in its risk management process and began attracting other successful advisors who a... imed to outsource functions that did not add value to their practices, such as compliance and supervision. Today, Private Advisor Group is comprised of a network of advisors who can expect top-notch supervisory and compliance oversight, advocacy within the broker-dealer and beyond, and personal service from staff members who know their business intimately.
