PROFESSIONAL LANDCARE NETWORK
The National Association of Landscape Professionals-NALP (formerly PLANET) is the trade association for the landscape industry that represents the voice of more than 100,000 landscape and lawn care professionals. The association advocates for the economic, social, and environmental benefits of the landscape industry. The NALP’s members include companies that specialize in lawn care, landscape design, and installation; landscape maintenance; tree care; irrigation and water management; and inte... rior plantscaping as well as students, consultants, industry suppliers, state associations, and affiliates. The association offers its members with access to educational resources, peer-to-peer sharing on a national scale, and practices in the landscape industry. It works with legislators and policymakers. The association administers the Landscape Industry Certified designation which is a benchmark for educational achievement for lawn care and landscape professionals. The National Association of Landscape Professionals was founded in 2005 and is based in Herndon, Virginia.
