Puppets Magic Studio is a design company, providing puppet characters for a wide range of media. We have worked with clients worldwide, including television broadcasters, production companies and independent producers. The puppets we usually specialise in is moving mouth hand and rod characters. These expressive characters offer an alternative to actors and can add a unique touch to a brand. Putting sculpture at the front of our practice, we take a contemporary approach to building our charact... ers, whilst using traditional sculptural techniques to ensure the best quality design. The process usually starts by creating 2D sketches and digital drawings, before mocking up the form in a 3D sculpt. The final understructure is created in foam and usually fabricated in fleece. Our studio has the capability of working with advanced casting methods as well as offering additional animatronic features like moving/ blinking eyes. Having had the pleasure of working across television, film and theatre, our puppet makers are well experienced in the design and fabrication of custom puppet characters.
