QUIPU SRL
Quipu is a Spin-Off company of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) and the University of Pisa (UniPi), specialised in Medical Imaging and Innovative Ultrasound Technologies. Quipu is located in the Research Area of Pisa, Tuscany, a “city of the science” with thirteen research institutes, one hospital, eleven hundred people. Quipu wants to design the next generation of biomedical ultrasound systems: software will be the future of medical ultrasound systems. Its mission is to design a new generation of biomedical ultrasound systems based on software applications. The company believes that software applications can change the world of medical ultrasound systems and can overcome the limitations that make ultrasound still underutilized.
