RECONNECTIONS
Reconnections is the first service in the UK to focus entirely on loneliness, the causes, its impact on the lives of older people and how it can be tackled in a long term, sustainable way. They work with individuals aged 50 and over, as well as with volunteers of all ages – a combination that delivers life-changing results on both sides! Reconnections has been commissioned by Worcestershire County Council and the local NHS, and is supported by Nesta, the Care and Wellbeing Fund, the Gulbenkian Foundation and others.
