RENSSELAER BOCES - SCHOOL OF PRACTICAL NURSING

Rensselaer BOCES, with its newly adopted name of Questar III, offers students in the Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene counties of New York the chance to become Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a full-time certification program. This LPN program is 1,188 classroom hours and can be completed in just over 10 months. It mingles hands-on academic learning with classroom instruction for a well-rounded education. Admissions require that students first take and pass the qualifying exam. Upon completion of this exam, additional requirements must be completed. These include passing the TEAS V exam, three professional references, proof of a high school diploma or GED, a physical exam and mandatory immunizations, CPR certification, a financial aid meeting and the completed application. Tuition costs vary, but financial aid is available to qualifying students. Aid can include Pell grants, loans, WIA and VA Benefits.More
