RHETORICAL GROUP PLC
Rhetorical Group was formed in 2000 and became a leading speech engineering company which concentrated on the text-to-speech (TTS) market. It developed a novel software product, RVoice, which allowed textual information to be formed into speech by computer in a range of high quality synthesised voices. RVoice was deployed globally into telecom, call centre and media applications. The company was acquired by Scansoft, a trade buyer in 2004.
