RHODE ISLAND DEPARTMENT OF LABOR & TRAINING
Rhode Island's Department of Labor and Training assists employees, employers, and citizens with workforce development, security, and protection. It provides both individuals and employers with employment and educational opportunities and provides economic opportunities through state and federal funding. In addition to protecting workers through labor laws, prevailing wage rates, and health and safety standards, DLT also enforces government regulations. The department also provides temporary income support to unemployed and temporarily disabled workers.
