Rock the Vote is the largest non-profit and non-partisan organization in the United States driving the youth vote to the polls. Whether it’s Madonna wrapping herself in the flag for the first Rock the Vote PSA or Snoop Dogg launching their bus tour in 2004, Rock the Vote represents the historic and groundbreaking intersection of culture and politics. In 1993, their helped lead the push for passage of the National Voter Registration Act, also known as the Motor Voter Bill, and have consistently been supporters for and innovators of better and more effective voter registration systems. Their were early advocates for states allowing voters to register by mail and were the first organization to use a toll-free number to register voters over the phone.
