Romania-Insider.com started as a solo project in May 2010, and was fueled by the need to give the expatriate community in Romania a source of quality, fresh news tailored to their needs. The English – language website was founded by Corina Chirileasa (Saceanu), who had been working as a business journalist in Romania for six years. She decided to start her own editorial project, while staying true to her journalistic principles. After a couple of hard start-up months, she partnered Volker M... oser, who had been doing business in Romania via his City Compass media and expat services company. They became partners in Romania-Insider.com, which, despite a challenging media environment, continued to stay a truly independent media company, and managed to expand. Others soon joined the group that now works on delivering fresh news, features and opinion stories about Romania to the international community, and which helps local and international brands get more awareness. Corina runs the editorial team, and Volker, the advertising sales and business development.More
