RPI INCUBATOR PROGRAM
The RPI Incubator Program is owned and operated by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. It is a department within the Office of Intellectual Property, Technology Commercialization, and New Ventures. The Incubation Program was founded in 1980, making it the first wholly university-based Incubation in the nation. It is open to all start-up enterprises with a technology-based product or service. Historically, one-third of its member companies have been founded by RPI students or recent Alumni, one-third by Faculty, and one-third by members of the general community. Member of the Business Incubator Association of New York State.
