Chic. Convenient. Consignment. Runway Wheels is a trendsetting start-up company for young, fashionable women. During Allyson Shaffier's last year of college, she was inspired to create the first consignment 'boutique-on-wheels.' She and her girlfriends loved consignment shopping, but found carrying their clothes to brick-and-mortar stores to be a difficult task without the use of a car. After seeing more food trucks enter the college market, the idea of mobile consigning was born. Runway Wheels ... brings you a convenient, yet eco-friendly at-your-doorstep boutique, as well as 24/7 online shopping, and a fun, social experience. We invite you to sell yesterday's favorite clothes for instant payment, watch fashion shows and socialize about fashion, all at our stylishly designed truck! Runway Wheels is a team of 7, consisting of stylists and technical experts. Visit our site to read individual bios. We will be launching our first truck in September and it will operate in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, visiting campuses, open air markets and fashion trunk shows.
