S4T CORE MODULES
S4T Core Modules builds models that demonstrate universal soft-switching solid-state transformer (S4T) technology. The company’s 25kVA universal S4T uses a four-leg topology to adapt to any low-voltage applications, up to 480V AC/750V DC. The topology can interface with virtually any configuration – for example, four-wire AC system, energy hub, or DC fast charging. Typical solutions require multiple converters that need to be customized. The results obtained from the bronze prototypes indicate significant commercialization potential as S4T Core Modules continues to test its system.
