SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guildโ€American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) is an American labor union that aims to secure the rights of media professionals. The union represents approximately 160,000 actors, announcers, broadcast journalists, dancers, DJs, news writers, news editors, program hosts, puppeteers, recording artists, singers, stunt performers, voiceover artists, and other media artists. It is a merger of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. SAG-AFTRA was founded in 2012 and is based in California, United States with offices around the nation.
