Additionally, since 1999, the SCTCC Foundation has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships. Applications for financial aid will be reviewed by a panel that is looking for individuals who are committed to a specific program of study; involved with family, school, or community activities; can demonstrate leadership and how life experiences have influenced their personal growth; and show scholastic achievement. This school also offers tuition payment plans for students who need to defer tuition and other costs, but do not qualify for funding, loans or grants. Students who choose to defer their payments will be required to pay a $30 processing fee for each deferment agreement, and must pay the entire balance before the end of the semester.
