SAINT PAULS COLLEGE

Saint Paul’s College, a historically black liberal arts school (HBCU) situated on a beautiful, historical campus in Lawrenceville, Virginia, offers traditional academics as well as alternative programs for non-traditional students. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Saint Paul’s classic stone architecture provides a picturesque and scholastic environment reminiscent of traditional colleges. Saint Paul’s tradition extends to its liberal arts academics, which include bache... lor’s degrees in such areas as English, History, Political Science and the Natural and Social Sciences. However, Saint Paul’s also offers professional degree programs in subjects such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Criminal Justice and Social Work. Even more innovative are Saint Paul’s degrees for non-traditional students. One of these programs allows adult students the chance to earn a bachelor’s in less than two years. Another, the Single Parent program, is designed for parents of young children and provides all of the extra support services that such students require. Since Saint Paul’s is an Episcopal college, some of the student life offerings are religious and spiritual in nature. These include a spiritual support network, a church choir and a Lectors Guild. Additional student life activities include such organizations as a Poetry Club and an NAACP club. High school transcripts, recommendation letters and a formal application are some of the documents required by admissions to determine an applicant’s suitability.
