The Salish Kootenai College in Pablo, Montana, is a tribal college that welcomes Native American students from Montana and across the nation to receive a high-quality educational experience as well as perpetuate the culture and tradition of the Confederated Tribes of the Flathead Nation. The collegeโ€™s academics are available in associateโ€™s and bachelorโ€™s degrees, as well as certification programs. Some of the career paths available include: * Highway Construction Training * Dental A... ssisting * Engineering Graphics * Early Childhood Education * Business and Entrepreneurship * Hydrology SKCโ€™s career services department offers students plenty of opportunities for professional development. The department hosts many career fairs and workshops throughout the year. Topics have included job interviews techniques and preparing for college life, among others. No matter where your academic or recreational interests lie, SKC has many student groups for you to find your niche. From business/leadership groups like the American Indian Business Leaders to the Forestry and Natural Resources Club, you will be able to find an organization fit for you. To apply, students must submit an official high school transcript or GED, immunization records and major declaration. All applicants are required to take part in an admissions orientation session before being admitted. Tuition varies depending on residency and heritage. Montana residents, Indian students and Indian descendants qualify for discounted tuition. SKC is authorized to offer federal forms of financial aid to eligible students through Pell grants, scholarships, work-study programs and direct student loans.

SKC is a tribal college, chartered in 1977 under the sovereign governmental authority of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes.
