Samtana was founded by two serial tshirt wearers frustrated with the lack of individuality and aesthetic appeal of what was available to us in shops around the country. Not feeling the need to be recruited as walking billboards by draping names across their chests, they decided to get together all those talented artists that shared their view on all things tee’s, and bring ‘wearable art’ to bodies around the world. Their Community of Artists consist of freelance artists from across the glo... be creating the most awesomely unique designs for us to print on 100% organic cotton tshirts for you to proudly wear, and feel snug in. No rules, no guidelines, just awe inspiring art. As a natural succession to the communal artistic effort that goes into Samtana tees, they wanted to take this further and promote a cause they believed in - The move back to organic cotton farming in India. We achieve this by sourcing their cotton from organic farming co-operatives in South India. This not only helps support the move to a more sustainable and lucrative form of farming for the farmers, but also keeps what you put on your body free from chemicals and other rubbish that you just don't need.
