San Diego City College in San Diego, California, is a comprehensive community college with a full range of academic programs and campus life activities. SDCC is a two-year school and awards associateโs degrees. Students may use their associateโs degree to transfer to a four-year school or to begin a career. San Diego City Collegeโs student services will help students with the transfer process. They will also provide career counseling for those who wish to start a career. College life at SDCC provides maximum opportunity for involvement. There is a student-run radio station, a student theatre company and many clubs and organizations. San Diego City College also has a world cultures center that sponsors everything from Finnish folk concerts to photography exhibits to flamenco dancing performances. Anyone with a high school diploma or GED who is at least 18 years old may enroll at San Diego City College. Those who are under 18 years old may also enroll if they receive permission. San Diego City College awards financial aid to students enrolled in a degree program. Aid recipients generally receive a combination of grants and work-study. Aid applicants must submit a FAFSA to receive aid.
