SCHUYLKILL SCHOOL OF NURSING
Graduates of Schuylkill Health School of Nursing (formerly Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing) in Pottsville, Pennsylvania have a high success rate with becoming licensed and finding employment. Schuylkill offers a three-year diploma program in nursing. Since the first year of the program consists of general education courses, students from other schools or with other degrees may be able to complete the program in two years. The Schuylkill campus consists of numerous health facilities whe... re students help provide medical care to the community. Additionally, there are other off-campus facilities and agencies where students earn experience with patients. Since the program combines classroom learning with hands-on experience, graduates of Schuylkill have great success. Many Schuylkill students pass the NCLEX-RN licensing exam on the first attempt. Financial aid is available at Schuylkill School of Nursing in the form of Pell grants, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency grants, an Academic Competitiveness grant, a Nursing Foundation Grant, and loans and scholarships. These options are available for eligible students.
