SEMINARY EXTENSION INDEPENDENT STUDY INSTITUTE
Even if you realize that ministry is your sole calling in life, taking classes on-site at a seminary is rarely convenient, especially for adult students. With online academics, the Seminary Extension Independent Study Institute enables you to earn a diploma in Christianity anywhere you choose and at your own pace. Diploma courses are divided into biblical, theological and practical categories. Biblical courses teach specific books of the Bible, as well as how to read and interpret gospel. Theol... ogical courses concern the history and philosophy of Christianity and other major religions. Practical courses, on the other hand, deal with leading the Christian life, from starting a church to starting a family. The Independent Study Institute also offers more than 20 non-credit basic courses. These courses are intended for those with less of an educational background, or for students with limited English. You can find the ISI admissions application online. In order to apply, you must have a high school diploma, GED or otherwise demonstrate ability to benefit. Financial aid is not available, but the school does offer tuition refunds if you change your mind about taking a course.
