SEMP TCL
SEMP TCL was founded in 1942, in the city of São Paulo. That same year, it launched the first radio made in the country. As an example of the pioneering spirit that would mark its entire history, in 1949 it produced the first Brazilian radio-phonograph, and in 1951 – less than a year after the beginning of TV broadcasts in Brazil through Diários Associados TV Tupi, the first Brazilian television.
