Shades of Comfort Ltd was formed in 2005 as an industry specialist providing outdoor solutions to the commercial market following the smoking ban to pubs and restaurants. Our product range began with providing umbrellas and awnings to pubs and restaurants. As our customers’ confidence in us grew, so did our portfolio, earning us an impeccable reputation within the leisure and hospitality industries. Over the years Shades has consistently expanded and is now servicing many household names such as Whitbread, David Lloyd Leisure, and Young’s. One of our more notable ventures was undertaken for Drayton Manor Theme Park. This project included several tensile structures and Poseidons (our unique tensile umbrella), and a bespoke pavilion for their Thomas the Tank Engine area. Shades are also delighted to be the sole supplier to Costa Coffee for their umbrellas and awnings!
