SHARED INTEREST
Since 1994, Shared Interest has worked with US investors to support microenterprises, small businesses, agricultural cooperatives and low-cost housing providers throughout South Africa. We do this by raising loan capital in the United States that serves as collateral to unlock commercial bank financing for low-income rural communities and townships. Our $11 million dollar guarantee fund has leveraged credit of more than $100 million to struggling communities throughout the country.
