SHARON REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM SCHOOL OF NURSING

Along with the School of Radiology, the Sharon Regional Health System School of Nursing provides medical education to residents of Mercer County. The school offers a 60-week course leading to a career in nursing. The SRHS School of Nursing’s academics combine theory and clinical experience. The curriculum consists of four courses, Nursing I through IV, which provides one theory hour to every three clinical hours. The School of Nursing has a somewhat intensive admissions process. Twelve pre-r... equisite courses are required in order to take the TEAS pre-admission test, which will determine your eligibility for the program. Official transcripts and three references (employment, academic and character) are also required. A variety of financial aid opportunities are available at the SRHS School of Nursing, including federal grant and loan programs. Grants and scholarships funded by the state of Pennsylvania are a good opportunity for in-state students to lessen the burden of tuition. Local foundations also fund several scholarship programs for the School of Nursing.
