SKAGIT FISHERIES ENHANCEMENT
Skagit Fisheries Enhancement involves communities in habitat restoration and watershed stewardship in order to enhance salmon populations. As an organization, they have cooperative relationships with local landowners, conservation groups, government agencies, and tribes. Through the hard work of their volunteers and restoration staff, they have been recognized as local leaders in restoration. They are part of the coordination to educate and involve the public in salmon enhancement activities across the state at the community level.
