SMART-SHIP
Smart-Ship is originally a family company founded by the brothers Roy (CEO) and Brent Kok (CFO), who combined their knowledge on tech, business and entrepreneurship. Later Smart-Ship's management team expanded with the addition of Jelle Tiemensma as CTO. The company focusses on enabling a sustainable future for maritime operations. They do this by implementing force-feedback technology on ship control. At Smart-Ship we implement force-feedback/haptics on ship controls to increase safety, su... stainability and efficiency during maritime operations. With our haptic lever series we enable a shared control where the human operator intuitively knows what to do during complex maritime operations.
