SMARTTHINGS
SmartThings provides wireless cloud based software. It offers a smartphone app that allows its users to monitor and control their domestic affairs even when they are out of their home. They do this by creating a variety of easy-to-use sensors to be placed at home, office, and car. SmartThings lets these sensors communicate with each other, and with the users–unlocking a new world of possibilities and resulting in the world’s most accessible and advanced open platform for the Internet of Things. SmartThings is based in Mountain View, California and operates independently as a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics.
