SMENA CATALYSIS

SMENA Catalysis is a nanotechnology company that fabricates nano-structured layered materials. They work with transition metal dichalcogenides, which are van der Waals materials (TMDs). TMDs are a novel class of materials with potential for new research horizons and future uses. TMD characteristics may be altered via nanopatterning in a structure-dependent way. Their service includes the fabrication and delivery of such structures. They provide a wide range of one-of-a-kind nanostructured TMDs, ... including atomically sharp edges and unique zigzag terminations. These samples were created using our unique AtomicEdge process, which combines reactive ion etching with anisotropic etching. Nanostructured TMDs are appealing for a variety of applications, including structural colors, nanophotonics, and optoelectronics, as well as mechanical filters and catalysis.
