Originally founded as a massage therapy training center, the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts now offers a variety of programs in holistic medicine. The school’s academics include certificates and diplomas in the following areas: *Massage Therapy *Yoga Instructor *Holistic Healthcare & Nutrition *Mind-Body Wellness *Life Coaching *Hypnotherapy The institute also teaches personal development courses, such as Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Entrepreneurship. Some programs (for example, Massag... e Therapy and Yoga) are available only on campus, while others can be taken online. Southwest Institute of Healing Arts has minimal admissions requirements. To enroll in a program, all you need is a high school diploma or GED, and personal development courses require no prior education. Financial aid is available in the form of federal grants, loans and VA benefits. You can also receive 10% off of tuition if you pay in full upon enrollment. If this is not feasible, the school offers payment plans to help you finance your education.
