There is no other college campus where you'll find a student-managed nursery/floral shop, The Greenery...the full-service restaurant, Orlando's, which is staffed by students in the college's culinary arts program...a student-operated commercial bakery...an automotive repair center, also staffed by students...and a cosmetology center run by SCC students. And for students who are parents, there's the Bigfoot Child Care Center. We have excellent instructional facilities as well. A brand-new 65,288-square-foot Science Building opens to students in 2006, and our state-of-the-art Health Science Building features a 36,300-square-foot addition, which was completed in 2001.
