ST LUKES HOSPITAL SCHOOL OF NURSING
Graduates of St. Luke’s Hospital nurse training program are sure to find support and hands-on learning during their training and success after graduating. Located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, St. Luke’s program in Nursing is intended to train students to become registered nurses (RN’s). In addition to theoretical classroom learning, St. Luke’s integrates extensive hands-on clinical experience, requiring nursing students to undertake 900 hours of clinical experience. This is done at St... . Luke’s itself or at other medical facilities. During their 20-month program, St. Luke’s nursing students also have extensive professional development opportunities. Student representatives plan social functions and other events. Those in other professional development organizations such as the National Student Nurses Association and the Student Government Association also undertake leadership roles in their academic and social community. Academic advising, tutoring, workshops in note-taking and study skills, career coaching and financial aid are some of the student services available to help St. Luke’s students succeed. Financial aid options depend on eligibility, which may be discussed with a St. Luke’s counselor. Contact the school for more information.
