Startup Europe is a manifesto that aims to power the growth of entrepreneurship and digital innovation in the E.U. Entrepreneurs, investors, advisors, and other stakeholders across the continent can share their views on the manifesto and support the digital growth plan for the E.U. It is supported by 9 popular tech entrepreneurs in Europe. In order to achieve its goal, Startup Europe recommends 22 actions under the categories: education and skills; access to talent; access to capital; data ... policy, protection, and privacy; and thought leadership. The manifesto intends to make teachers digitally confident and competent; teach children the principles, processes, and the passion for entrepreneurship from a young age; encourage university students to start a business before they graduate; make it easy for companies to hire outside their home countries; increase private and institutional investment in startups; make it easy for high-growth companies to raise capital through public markets; revise and normalize data protection laws; make governments think digitally and make their data public; create a 'best practices' repository; establish a Digital European forum; and more.More
