STATE UNIVERSITY OF FEIRA DE SANTANA
The Human Capital Theory understands education as a personal and social investment that generates economic development. Under the influence of this theory in 1968, the o overno baiano forms an education policy (comprehensive education plan), aimed at expanding and expanding the education system at all levels, with the aim of forming cadres for the industrialization process. Thus, the process of internalization began with the installation of Teacher Training Colleges in the main inland cities, headquarters of the administrative regions of the state, which now act as geo-educational districts.
